Review: Magic Smash is a glass crystal smashing game in which you must smash as many crystals as you can all the while shooing other obstacles out of the way. If you have played Smash Hit and enjoyed it, this will be right up your street. But sadly it is nowhere near as satisfying to play as Smash Hit and while there is smashing of glass to be had, there is too little of it to be exciting. The games biggest problem is that it doesn’t give you full control. No control over your movements and no control over the shooting as you can only shoot when your target spot is over a target, otherwise it simply doesn’t shoot meaning there is no skill needed, you can simply tap away on the touchpad and it will only shoot when there is something to shoot at! Despite these flaws and repetitive gameplay, it’s still worth a download if you have already played ‘Smash Hit’ and find yourself wanting more of the same. Sure, it’s not perfect, but it offers a little bit of fun for a little price.
